Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms

The heroes of Earthrealm must travel to Outworld and fight for the survival of their homeland, invaded by the forces of the evil warlord Shao Kahn, in the tournament to end all tournaments: the final Mortal Kombat.

The film begins right after Scorpions Revenge, where the heroes are attacked by Shao Kahn, forcing “Raiden and his group of warriors to agree to compete in a final Mortal Kombat that will determine the fate of the kingdoms.” This forces the good guys to travel to Outworld defending Earthrealm while Scorpion travels to find the Kamidogu (a mystical relic made by the almighty Elder Gods) before it is used to bring back the mysterious One Being, who would destroy the universe.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is an exciting and enjoyable feature that seems to have been designed just for Mortal Kombat fans. The main characters of the film have beautiful moments and developments, while others suffer because the crucial decisions do not have as much depth. With its extremely bloody choreography and battles, the action and animation make up for any lack of story material.
